So Multiple Warheadz is out. I feel a little weird about Sexicas character development so far, I wrote a bunch of crap to solidify her in the next one.
I think part of my reaction is that after doing 180 page book 60 dosen't feel like much to get everything across I need to.
It came out good though, I think. I'm biased.
San diego was nuts.
I saw a baby. An infant, that someone had dressed as slave leia.
and at one point when I passed a dude dressed as a klingon borg I actually clapped I was so happy to see it.
I met a million awesome people and artists who I'd wanted to meet for years. And I had to go and do a panel and a talk for tokyo pop in front of a microphone and shit.
I was really frustrated by the new THB that pope had there. That guy was a big deal to me for years and he hasn't done anything that really blew me away since Heavy liquid. I used to think that his ego helped him make great art, now it just feels like he got too cocky to really try hard. I talk about artists that get me inspired as "threats" pope just isn't a threat anymore.
I've been thinking about changing my diet lately. I was reading a moebius thing where he talked about how he wanted to be able to function for as long as he was alive how he never wanted his body to quit on him. After sdcc I got all sick from airport mcdonnalds I was thinking about how that shit wouldnt happen to moebius.
That dude consistently seems like the artist with his shit the most together.
I think it's important to see what happened to people who you admire who's footsteps I'm trying to walk in.
my shit is not together.
