How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

I went on a speed boat for the first time ever.
I sat at the front clutching on for dear life until I
noticed that my girl and the kid we were with were all
casual about it holding on to nothing.

When the boat was close enough I handed my shoes shirt and pants to Marian and jumped in swimming to shore. The next day I woke up and my boxers were still all salt water salty.

Aside from that It's been comic books and secret meeting and comic books. Tonight was writting and laying out the next 5 pages of my Multiple warheads 2 book. I layed out the whole thing then read a bunch of girls manga and re-layed it out with some fresh comics science. There's some kind of perfection somewhere between the dense barbarian storytelling of a John Buscema conan and a sparse wordless 3 line coathanger of a Mari Okazaki Sweat and Honey.

Dude, next you hafta try a jet ski! I've never rode one, but I've always wanted to.

Before I start working on my barbarians story, I always load up on some CONAN. The John Buscema and Alfred Alcala stories are always the best. Especially when Buscema draws boobies like in SAVAGE SWORD Vol.3.
